Model and Portrait modeling courses

Method: We discuss the pose of the model in groups, the teacher provides information about anatomy and proportions, the work is discussed individually several times per lesson, and demonstrations are given e.g. how to get shape with clay. We strive for work with our own signature.

Portrait modeling with clay (6 meetings)
We work with clay on the basis of a self-brought model
Or your own face. The model does not always have to be present.

Modeling with clay (5 meetings)
In the course we work from a live model in a sitting position and then a lying position. We start with 1 image per lesson, then several lessons per image.
The work is then baked and, if necessary, patinated/colored.

Modeling with modeling wax (5 meetings)
In the course we work on a nude model in a sitting and a standing position.
N.B. In a separate workshop of 2 days the work can be cast in bronze,
or you have your work cast in bronze by a bronze caster.

Human & animal (12 meetings)
This special Human & Animal course consists of 12 modeling lessons. Divided into 6 modeling lessons based on a living model (human) guided by Lettie Tax and the six modeling lessons based on photo material (animal of your choice, e.g. your pet) supervised by Esther de Jong.
Both artists are specialists in what they guide, a unique opportunity to delve into these subjects.
